Dust - Hard Attack (1972)

It's not very often that I dip into the older stuff when it comes to hard rock (with minor exceptions for Queen and Mountain) but this band has definitely turned my head to the winds far past blown through. With a genuine vintage feel and awesome songwriting, Dust takes you on a journey through fields teeming with mammoths and vikings wielding axes of skywrought iron. You know that it has to be good when the cover art is from an old copy of Conan and The Frost Giant's Daughter. Acoustic bits mixed with hard rockin' riffs make this is an irresistibly fun listen.

ROCK ON
