Oranssi Pazuzu is an interesting blend of Black Metal, Kraut Rock and oddly enough...early Pink Floyd. This weird trip through space seems to take the listener through an odd amalgamation of all these genres without ever losing a beat. The flawless transition from genre to genre fits perfectly and gives the listener a real sense of depth for the entire project. It's easy to see why so many people are getting into this band. Personally, I got the album because I absolutely LOVED the album art and it turned out the music was pretty rad. Recommended for fans of Deathspell Omega, Fen, Faust and Between The Buried and Me.
